Discharge Upgrades:
We assist survivors in pursuing discharge upgrades, helping them through the process to change their military discharge status. This can open doors to additional benefits, services, and opportunities that may have been previously unavailable.
Trauma-Sensitive Yoga:
Our trauma-sensitive yoga sessions are designed to help survivors reconnect with their bodies in a safe and supportive environment. These classes are taught by certified instructors trained to accommodate the unique needs of trauma survivors, promoting healing through mindful movement and breathwork.
Writing Workshops:
Our writing workshops offer survivors an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings in a creative and healing way. These workshops provide a supportive environment for exploring personal experiences through writing, which can also be a powerful tool for self-reflection and advocacy.
Legal Assistance:
We provide survivors with access to legal resources and support, including consultations, assistance with legal processes, and referrals to attorneys who specialize in military sexual trauma cases. We are committed to ensuring survivors have the legal representation they need to seek justice.
Counseling Referrals:
Our counseling referrals connect survivors with qualified mental health professionals who specialize in trauma and military sexual trauma. We understand the importance of finding the right counselor, and we provide resources to help survivors get the care they need.
Training:
We offer training for professionals, community organizations, and institutions on topics related to military sexual trauma, survivor care, and trauma-informed practices. Our training has reached a wide range of audiences, including the U.S. Armed Forces, foreign armed forces, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Our goal is to help create safer, more supportive environments for survivors by increasing understanding and awareness.
