Survivor Services Coordinator – Military Rape Crisis Center
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Full-Time
The Military Rape Crisis Center (MRCC) provides confidential support and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and harassment connected to the U.S. Armed Forces. We serve active-duty members, veterans, and their families through trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and systemic advocacy.
The Victim Advocate provides direct support to survivors, including crisis counseling, safety planning, case management, and coordination of services with both military and civilian partners. This position requires compassion, professionalism, and a deep commitment to survivor-centered advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Provide confidential crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support.
- Offer information and referrals for legal, medical, and counseling services.
- Advocate for survivors’ rights within military, VA, and civilian systems.
- Maintain accurate, confidential case documentation.
- Participate in community outreach, education, and awareness initiatives.
Qualifications
- Military experience preferred; a bachelor’s degree may be accepted as a substitute.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in crisis intervention, victim advocacy, or trauma-informed care.
- Strong communication, empathy, and crisis response skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Chief Policy Officer
Location: Remote
The International Center for Survivor Justice is seeking a passionate, strategic, and highly skilled policy professional to help advance survivor-centered advocacy, accountability, and systemic reform at the national and international levels.
This position will support policy development, legislative strategy, research, coalition-building, and advocacy initiatives focused on issues including gender-based violence, survivor justice, militarization, human rights, and institutional accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft policy briefs, legislative proposals, advocacy materials, and public comments
- Conduct policy and legal research related to survivor rights, gender-based violence, military justice, and international human rights
- Track state, federal, and international policy developments
- Support strategic advocacy campaigns and coalition efforts
- Assist with congressional, governmental, nonprofit, and international stakeholder engagement
- Help develop survivor-centered policy recommendations and reform initiatives
- Prepare reports, talking points, testimony, and briefing materials
- Collaborate with grassroots organizations, advocates, and partner institutions
Qualifications
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Experience in public policy, advocacy, human rights, law, social justice, nonprofit work, or related fields
- Understanding of trauma-informed and survivor-centered approaches
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to equity, accountability, and human rights
- Experience with legislative advocacy, international advocacy, or nonprofit policy work preferred
