The Military Rape Crisis Center, in partnership with the Global Women Impact Fund, collaborates with local grassroots organizations in countries shaped by U.S. militarization, imperialism, and occupation to support survivors and their families and to strengthen community-based responses to sexual violence committed by members of the United States Armed Forces.
Grounded in survivor leadership and cross-border solidarity, the International Center for Survivor Justice recognizes sexual violence as inseparable from broader systems of impunity, institutional protection, and dehumanization that place entire communities at risk. Through advocacy, crisis response, survivor-centered services, and direct partnership with trusted local organizations, we work to address abuse, confront the structures that enable it, and advance pathways to healing, dignity, accountability, and justice.
ICSJ support grassroots initiatives abroad because local communities are best positioned to define their own needs, strategies, and resistance. In the United States, we advocate for reparations, material support, and accountability for women and girls harmed by members of the United States Armed Forces abroad.
ICSJ is dedicating over $1million USD in grants to grassroots women-led organizations that support women and girls in communities impacted by U.S. imperialism over the past sixty years.
